I have a dilemma

Dear Followers,

I don't know what to do!

Everyone who is using Blogger as a blog platform knows that the Follow by email widget is basically gone. Blogger is no longer supporting it, and its use will be gone in July 2021. This means that I will have no way of gaining new followers. At least, that's what I think it means. I only have 12 followers (from what I can tell), and I'm not necessarily looking for scads of new followers, but if someone wants to follow, I want to provide a way for him or her to follow me and read my content.

So, my questions is this: Does anyone know of an alternative way for people to sign up to follow my blog and remain with the Blogger platform? If there is no way to do this, then I have another question: What platform do you use or suggest I use as an alternative to Blogger? I want a platform that's free, but I will consider paying for an appropriate platform. I'm interested in what you're using, why you like it, what your fees are and anything else that makes it a great blogging site.

Please help me figure this out, because I am lost. Thank you in advance.

Bees Tag

This is a tag that I made using two different stencils and stamped with bees (Stampin' Up!). I used Distress Oxide Inks and, for the bees, Versafine Onyx ink. I used fabric as the fiber to put through the hole at the top.

Happy Birthday

I began this 4 1/2" square card by cutting the yellow panel at 4 1/4" square. Then, I cut the floral squares and used double-sided tape to adhere them. Next, I die cut the sentiment and the circle that goes behind it. I glued the two together. I used double-sided foam tape to adhere it to the card front.

Hello 2

I began this 4 1/2" square card by cutting a 4 1/4" panel of the rosy-colored scrapbook paper. Then, I cut the four squares to lie on top of it. Next, I cut the square for the top and adhered it with double-sided foam tape. I stamped a bee (Stampin' Up!) on it with Versafine Onyx ink and die cut the sentiment in white twice to stack them for stability and dimension, a la Jennifer McGuire.

Laugh

I began this A2-sized card by cutting the flowered panel and adhering to the front of the card using double-sided tape. Then, I die cut the sentiment twice a la Jennifer McGuire to add stability and dimension. I glued it down. After that, I stamped the bees (Stampin' Up!) with Versafine Onyx ink.

hello

I began this by cutting the red panel to fit within the A2-sized white card base. Then, I cut the flowered scrapbook paper. Next, I die cut two of the white sentiments and glued them together a la Jennifer McGuire to give them more stability and dimension. Finally, I stamped the bee (Stampin' Up!) using Versafine Onyx ink.

I'm up to making cards again!

It took a long time to heal from the muscle spasm in my shoulder blade and neck area, but I'm back to creating cards again...and doing day-to-day activities! I think driving to Columbus, Ohio did it for me. I was able to say goodbye to my mom by watching her ashes (and her husband's ashes) being interred at the church she attended. It was a simple ceremony. The reason I say this is that my muscle spasm started when she got Covid. She died from it. My muscle spasm got worse. Now, putting her to rest seems to have alleviated my pain. Also, I went to physical therapy which helped somewhat.

So, I'm back to creating, which will be the next entry. It's simple, and hopefully effective.

Thanks for all the well-wishes. It was nice to know that I'm thought of.

Tomorrow, Katie gets her second Covid vaccine. I've already had mine for about a month now. Otherwise, she is doing well. She's still teaching from home. Although she would rather teach Biology in person, she doesn't know how that would work will all of the decontamination that must be done of the equipment and classrooms between classes. I hope the school works the kinks out before having in-person classes again.
