Pattern with Key

This is a mini slim line card measuring 3 1/2" by 6". I began by stamping the image (Stampers Anonymous) using Versafine Onyx on white card stock. Then, I mounted that onto black card stock and onto purple card stock using double-sided tape. Next, I glued a tiny brass key to the white panel.

You Are Enough

I began this card by embossing the green panel. Then, I adhered it to the A2-sized card base. Next, I stamped the sentiment (Stampers Anonymous) on light pink paper with Versafine Onyx, and using my MISTI, lined it up to make sure it was straight. After that, I used my paper trimmer to cut it down to size.

Life is Wonderful

This entry is a two-fer. The cards are so much alike that I feel putting them together is the right thing to do for the challenges.

I began this set of cards by die cutting 3 circles each. Then, I glued them, one on top of the other making sure that they were placed close to the edge. After they were dry, I cut them in half and switched out one piece of each set. Next, I glued them to a white A2 card base in the configuration above. Finally, I stamped the sentiment (Stampers Anonymous) using Versafine Onyx on pink card stock using my MISTI to make sure it was straight. I cut the sentiment down using my paper trimmer and glued them to the width of the cards.

A Playful Cat

This tag measures approximately 3 1/4" by 5 1/2" without the fibers. First, I stamped the cat (Viva Las Vegas Stamps) with Versafine Onyx. I colored her with my Spectrum Noir colored pencils in a gray color. Second, I stamped the cat again on a Post-It note and cut it out to make a mask. I placed the mask over the cat and the "floor". Third, I used my MISTI stamp positioner to stamp the background (Stampers Anonymous) using Vivid ink in straw. Fourth, I removed the masks and colored the floor to match the Vivid ink. Lastly, I cut some fibers and threaded them through the hole at the top. It looks like the cat is playing with them, as cats are wont do.

Paris

I started this A2-sized card by stamping the Eiffel Tower (Post Modern Design) in Versafine Onyx. Then, using my Big Kick and the banner die, I cut it out. I adhered that panel to the card base using double-sided tape. Next, I stamped the sentiment (Stampers Anonymous) and glued a row of cameras from scrapbook paper above it. Finally, I cut down the two and glued it to the panel.

See the World

I began this card by adhering the paper with the planes on it to a white card base. Then, I stamped the building (Stampa Rosa Inc.) on white card stock and cut it out using my paper trimmer. I use double-sided tape to adhere it to the paper. I also stamped two passports (Inkadinkado) on white card stock and cut them out by hand. I taped one down, and I used double-sided foam tape to adhere the other. Next, I stamped the compass rose (Rubber Stampede) with red ink. Finally, I added the sentiment (Stampers Anonymous). Everything stamped in black was Versafine Onyx.

Find Joy in the Ordinary

I'm using fall colors for this A2-sized card. We are now in that time of year and, while it's ordinary, there's joy to be found in it. Most noticeable are the leaves turning from green to yellow, orange, red and brown.

I started by die cutting the two golden yellow panels using a banner die. I also die cut a leaf as an accent piece. I stamped the sentiment (Stampers Anonymous) in Versafine Onyx using my MISTI stamp-positioning tool.

Use Your Wings

This is a simple card to make. I started off with a black A2-sized card base. The yellows come from a paint chip. I sliced it with my paper trimmer to get three strips of varying widths. I stamped a bee (?) on one and a sentiment (Stampers Anonymous) on another. I used Versafine Onyx ink. I was going to present it a quarter turn to the left, but this orientation made more sense.

"L" is For Lucky Ladybug

It isn't very often I stamp three items about the same amount apart and have them look even, but that's what happened here. So, I ran with it and made this card.

I started this slimline card with stamping the ladybugs (Anita's) and the sentiment (Stampers Anonymous). I chose this plaid patterned for the next layer down and green for the card base. I used double-side tape to adhere the plaid panel to the card base. Finally, I colored the middle ladybug's wings with a red Prismacolor pencil.

It's All Perspective

I started making this card by cutting the three panels. I adhered them to a dark turquoise card stock. I used the same turquoise to die cut the flower silhouettes. I glued them to the panel. I adhered that panel to a white A2-sized card base. Then, I stamped the sentiment (Stampers Anonymous) with Distress Archival Vintage Photo ink using my MISTI stamp positioner. Last, I adhered it to the lower right hand corner of the card.

Own Your Dreams

This is a fairly easy top-folding, A2-sized card to make. I chose the blue card base to match with colors in the printed paper.

The printed paper measures 2" by 4 1/4". I adhered that to the card base with double-sided tape. Then, I die cut the circles and adhered them right above the printed paper using glue. I stamped the sentiment (Stampers Anonymous) using Versafine Onyx Ink on a strip of yellow card stock to match other colors in the printed paper. I glued that to the card base.

Hello Friend

This is a fairly simple top-folding, A2-sized card to make.

I started by stamping the sunflower (Hero Arts) in the center of the panel using Versafine Onyx. Then, I stamped the three bees (unknown maker) in opposite corners. After that, I colored in the images using my Prismacolor pencils. Next, I pulled out my MISTI and a strip of white card stock, and I lined up the sentiment (Stampers Anonymous) and stamped it. I mounted it on a scrap of black card stock and adhered it on the panel above the sunflower. Finally, I adhered the panel to the yellow card base using double-sided tape.

This top-folding, A2-sized card was fairly easy to make. Just stamp and color!

First, I stamped the sunflower (Hero Arts), then I stamped the ladybug (Anita's). I put the card into my small MISTI and lined up the sentiment (Stampers Anonymous). I inked it using my Versafine Onyx ink pad and stamped it. After that, I colored in the images using my Prismacolor pencils. Finally, I adhered that panel to a red card base.

With a Grateful Heart

This is a fairly easy top-folding, A2-sized card. I started by cutting the yellow card stock 4 1/4" by 11" and, using my ScorPal, scored it at 5 1/2". Then, I positioned the leave dies and ran them through my Big Kick die-cutting machine and set it aside.

Using my Distress Oxide Inks and a white panel of card stock, I coated it with Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet. Then I sprayed it heavily with water and let it dry. The colors ran together.

I stamped the sentiment (Stampers Anonymous) on the yellow card stock with Wilted Violet. I used my MISTI to get the sentiment straight and make a solid impression. I glued the blue/purple panel behind the die-cut leaves.

Snarky Cat: Unsupervised

This entry is a multimedia tag, which is a nice break from making cards.

I started with a Manila-colored tag. First, I stamped the snarky cat and the sentiment (Stampers Anonymous) in Versafine Onyx. I stamped snarky cat again on a Post-It so I could mask the cat. Next, I smeared on some Distress Oxide inks in Broken China and it's complimentary color of orange in the form of Ripe Persimmon and Abandoned Coral. After that, I peeled off the mask and, using Prismacolor pencils, I colored the cat Burnt Ocher. Then, I sprayed water lightly onto the tag which reacts with the Distress Oxide inks to create texture and change the color slightly. Finally, I found some ribbons to match the colors and threaded them through the hole in the tag.
