Someday

I began this A2-sized card by stamping the focal image (Stampington & Company) in Versafine Onyx on mixed media paper. Then, I stamped the squares and circles (Hero Arts) and the word Someday (Uptown Design Co.) using Distress Oxide inks. After that, I adhered the white panel to the magenta panel and then to the black panel using double-side tape. I adhered all of that to a white card base.

Happy Thanksgiving

I began this A2-sized card with a manila-colored card base. Then, I cut the plaid paper a bit smaller and used double-sided tape to adhere it to the card base. Next, I cut a manila-colored panel and stamped the sentiment (Uptown Design Co.) and the pumpkin image (Hero Arts). After that, I colored in the pumpkin using my Spectrum Noir colored pencils. Finally, I cut out some bits of that panel to get rid of the white space.

Season's Greetings

 I started this slimline card by cutting the red panel. I stamped the wreath (Stampa Rosa) on the left allowing it to flow off the edge. I used Versamark embossing ink and embossed the image in detail gold. I glued on several "berries" using the same color of red as the panel. Then, I also embossed the sentiment (Hero Arts) in detail gold. Finally, I adhered the panel to the card base.

Autumn 2

I started this A2-sized card by cutting half-inch strips of the plaid paper. I arranged them according to the challenge below and glued them down. Then, I used a hand punch to cut out the owl from patterned scrapbook paper. Finally, I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts) with Vivid ink in brown and adhered it to the black card base with glue.

Autumn 1

I started this A2-sized card by cutting the brown scrapbook paper panel and adhered it to the white card stock base with double-sided tape. Then, I adhered the plaid and leaves papers to the brown panel. Next, I punched out the owl from another patterned scrapbook paper and framed it with brown card stock. I popped it out by using double-sided foam tape. Finally, I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts) on brown paper using Vivid brown ink. I tore the paper across the top to add some textural interest.

Season's Greetings

I started this A2-sized card by cutting the red panel and gluing the silver sequin and clear bead trim to the edge. After letting it dry, I adhered the panel to the aqua card base using double-sided foam tape to lift it and to let the sequins move. Then, I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts) on white card stock using Colorbox Warm Red. I adhered that to the card base using double-sided tape. I added an extra sequin to that.

Thinking of You 2

I started this A2-sized card by stamping the sentiment (Hero Arts) on the opposite side of the printed scrapbook paper. I used Vivid Plum ink. Then, I cut out the sentiment panel with a cutting and embossing die. Next, I attached that panel to the patterned scrapbook paper. Finally, I adhered that to the card base with double-sided tape.

Season's Greetings

This tag measures about 7 1/2" by 3 3/4". This consists of two separate tags that swing independently and are held together with a thin white ribbon. I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts) with Distress Inks in Pine Needles. The sew-on trim at the bottom of the white and red tag are tiny little jingle bells and beads and are adhered with glue.

Look Who's Talking

This is a very simple A2-sized card. People are using symbols more, and they mean different things, when they write these days, so I'm playing with that. I am also playing with the sketch below.

I stamped the asterisk (Hero Arts) using Distress Ink in Faded Jeans, and I stamped the "at" sign (Stampabilities) and the sentiment (RRR) with Versafine in Onyx. I die cut the ampersand.

Fir Tree Tag

 This tag measures approximately 2 1/2" by 4 1/2". I started this tag by die cutting the tag itself out of manila-colored card stock. Then, I die cut the trees out of two different textured green card stocks. I glued the lighter colored trees in back to indicate that they are further away. Next, I stamped "for you" (Stampin' Up!) and "peace" (Hero Arts) using a gray Archival Distress ink. Finally, I tied a piece of ric- rack to the top.

Autumn Leaves and Plaid

This is an A2-sized card. I started this card by adhering the background plaid paper to the card base with double-sided tape. Then, I die cut the leaves and glued them to the background. Next, I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts) on yellow card stock using Archival Distress ink. I glued that down.

Autumn

This is an ATC (Artist Trading Card), measuring 2 1/2" by 3 1/2".

I started this ATC by gluing some German text to a sturdy substrate. Then, I stamped the word Autumn (Hero Arts) to one side using Archival Distress ink. I tore some orange gingham text-weight scrapbook paper and glued it to the bottom left of the card. I die cut all of the leaves and glued them in a pleasing manner to the card.

Find Beauty

This is a one-layer, A2-sized card. I started with stamping the camera (Inkadinkado). Then, I inked up the film strip (Hero Arts) with yellow pigment ink and "kissed" the green-die-inked fern (Rubber Stampede) to it. Then, I stamped the film strip on the white card base. Next, I stamped the sentiment (Inkadinkado) along the bottom of the card.

(The scanner couldn't quite get the colors right. The card base is a light peachy-orange, the dots and the sentiment are purple and the leaves are red, purple and orange.)

Anyway... I started this A2-sized card by stamping the purple dots (Savvy Stamps). I used Distress Oxide inks to color some mixed media heavy-weight paper and misted them with water. After that dried, I die cut the leaves using those papers, arranged them on the card and glued them in place. Then, I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts).

I started with a kraft A2 card base. To that I added 3/8" strips of paint chips in various colors of green and peach. I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts) in Versafine Onyx along the bottom.

I started this A2-sized card with a cream-colored base. I added some diagonal gingham plaid text-weight scrapbook paper. I ran some black card stock through my paper crimper and adhered that with double-sided tape. I stamped the pumpkin (Hero Arts) on a green-textured card stock with Versafine Onyx ink, colored it with my Prismacolor pencils and cut it out by hand. I stamped the sentiment (Northwoods Rubber) on a scrap of cream-colored card stock and cut it out with a circle die. I glued it next to the pumpkin.

This A2-sized card was easy to make. I started it by die cutting the leaves out of various printed text-weight scrapbooking paper. I glued them in a pleasing arrangement to the card base. I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts) using Versafine Onyx on a cream-colored card stock and glued it to the card base. All done!

Autumn

I started this A2-sized with a light beige-colored card stock. I added the dotted panels and adhered them with double-sided tape. I cut the leaf shapes from scraps using dies and glued them to the panels. I stamped the sentiment (Hero Arts) using Distress Archival Vintage Photo ink and dark gold card stock. I adhered it with double-sided foam tape, which I also used to mount the entire panel to the dark brown card base. I looped the twine around the center twice before adhering it.

Thinking of You

 

I started with an A2-sized card blank. I cut the plaid panel at 4" by 5 1/4". I stamped all of the faux postage (Hero Arts, Stampabilities) on red, white and mint paper. Then, I adhered them to black card stock. I cut them out using decorative scissors. I glued them to the plaid panel in a slanted fashion. I stamped the sentiment (Stampin' Up!) on red using Versafine Onyx and cut it out using the same decorative scissors. I glued it onto the panel beneath the faux postage.

Postal Hello

 

I started with an A2-sized card blank. I layered on the plaid panel. On top of that, I glued on some red accents. I used a punch for the pointed line, and the other was the "waste" from it. I stamped the postage (Hero Arts, Stampabilities) and cut them out with scissors. After that, I mounted them onto black card stock and used decorative scissors called Postage to go around each piece. Then, I stamped the sentiment (studio g), mounted it on black card stock and cut around it with scissors. All of the black was stamped using Versafine Onyx.
