Love

 I began this A2-sized card by stenciling the top layer using the following Distress Oxide inks: broken china, squeezed lemonade and picked raspberry. Then, I mounted it on a turquoise card stock, then on an orange card stock and finally on a white card base. Next, I die cut the sentiment and glued it to the top layer. Finally, I added a few turquoise sequins.

 I began this A2-sized card by stenciling the top layer. I stenciled one way using Distress Oxide ink in broken china, then I turned it around and stenciled the same design using twisted citron. Next, I cut it down and mounted it on turquoise card stock, mounted that on a green card stock and mounted that on a white card base. After that, I die cut the sentiment and glued it to the top layer. Finally, I finished it off with gluing a few turquoise sequins in the left hand corner.

Fall Leaves

This is a 5 1/4" square card. The card base is black.

First, I cut the orange and cream text-weight paper at 5 1/4" by 4 3/4". From there, I cut the left panel at 1 1/4". I adhered both into place using double-sided tape. Then, I die cut the three different leaves and adhered one to the other. I glued them to the card base. Finally, I added three sequins.

Buzzing Around

To make this slimline card, I started with a white card stock panel measuring 8 1/4" by 3 1/4". I cut some cardboard to make a stencil for the background. I used Distress Ink Speckled Egg and a make-up brush to create the striations. Then, I stamped the shadow of the bees with Distress Ink Weathered Wood. After that, I stamped the bees and the sentiment in Versafine Onyx ink. Then, I pierced the paper to show the flight of the bumble bees. Then, I added the sequins. When that dried, I attached the panel to yellow card stock slimline card blank. All stamps are by Stampin' Up!.

Butterfly Card

I started this A2 card by making the folding that is in the center. I started with a 4" square of double-sided designer paper. I found the center by folding one way and then the other. Then, I folded each corner to the center. After that, I folded the corners back on themselves leaving about a half inch of blue showing. I folded everything back to the center again and cut a white frame for around it. That frame measured about 3" square. I centered the double-side paper on it and used double-sided tape to secure it. I used double-sided tape to adhere it to the card taking care to center it. I punched (Stampin' Up!) out the butterfly and glued it to the inside of the folded area making sure to center it. I stamped the sentiment (Stampin' Up!) in the lower right hand corner and attached three sequins above it.

Today is a Good Day to Sparkle

It's always a good day to sparkle! This set, from Ellen Hutson, consists of stamps and a die. I bent the stamp to make it wavy, and I die cut "Sparkle" out of mirrored silver card stock. I added a few sequins, so the card would really sparkle.
