Still having problems with depression

  1. I'm sorry to hear this, Fonda. While I've never been afflicted with anything other than situational downs, I know of family members who struggle with long-term depression. I'll pray for your well-being.

    1. Thank you, Rita. I guess I just need some more time. We also have a lot going on...getting ready for some major home renovations - the kitchen and 2 baths AND flooring in the entire house. That won't actually happen for a couple of months, but I have to get a whole list of stuff that we'll need, down to the last screw! My brother will be doing it, but he lives in Florida. Once he's done with my sisters list, he will head up north to my list of "chores". He has an RV that he'll park in my driveway for the duration. In the mean time, I also have to have a garage sale. It never stops, and I'm overwhelmed.

  2. I am so sorry to read this Fonda. I was wondering why you were no longer posting. I do appreciate you letting me know. I can be a bit more specific in my prayer for you. Do not lose hope. I use to tell my students, "only you are in control of your feelings, and you should choose happy." While that worked for most teenagers, I do know that life is not that simple. I hope you have seen a doctor to make sure it is not a chemical imbalance or something. The state of the world doesn't help, and I am sure you're missing those you have lost. Don't forget you have many on your side. Here for you, anytime.

    1. I'm still feeling a little blah, but I have entered the studio and made some cards, which I will post when I'm all done. I THINK I'm done with them, but they seem to lack a little something. I'll pass it by Katie and see what she says. Together, we might figure something out! I assembly-lined these cards. I think it was the best way to start, and I CASEd someone's card. I'll certainly give her credit! After these 25 Christmas cards for my father-in-law, I need to make 10 birthday cards for him. This is where I need to make 10 different cards for all age and sex groups. That might be a little difficult, but once I get my hands on some paper, that might help. I'm getting there. Thank you for commenting.
