What’s On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 537

Another week has passed, and my desk is cleaner! I finally cleaned all the stamps, but they are sitting by the sink in the en suite. I have yet to put them away. That's why the many shoe boxes are still out...er...stacked and under!

All of the Distress Ink pads are still out, because I'm still using them! Look!!! I actually have space to work! That tag with the butterflies is something I finished up a couple of hours ago.

This is a stack of boxes that house some of my stamps. When I get ready to put the clean stamps away, they will go into these boxes and the boxes get put on the shelf.

These boxes are under the table. Some clean stamps will go into these, also.

I can finally breathe in my craft space. I think I'll be putting the clean stamps away tomorrow, because I'm sure my sweetie would appreciate it since I'm using "her" bathroom!

  1. I so like a good bit of storage and those boxes made me smile! I looked at the first photo and thought what an amazing jigsaw that would make for a crafter!

  4. Ha...always best not to use your own bathroom! That made me laugh...the thought of your darling cleaning her teeth whilst having the chance to admire some of your stamps, whether she wants to or not!! I love that you have cleared a little..quite a pile of ink pads there...I wonder where they live. I see you have and use that lovely leaf set from Hero Arts. Some stamps you just keep turning to huh - definitely one of my favourite sets.

    1. Those ink pads are the entire line of T!m Holtz Distress Inks. They live in the plastic container in the back right which have other stuffs in it for now. Then, the container lives on a shelf. Yes, those Hero Arts leaves are a classic! Why they included a rose leaf with the other tree leaves is beyond me, though! Thanks for stopping by!

  6. You have to get everything around you when you're crafting and often it may get a bit busy but you're obviously well organised and have somewhere for everything when the jobs completed. Wishing you a lovely creative week and a happy woyww, Angela x10x

  7. I do love a bit of organisation though I have to admit sometimes the time and effort required to keep my work space clear enough to work in actually outstrips the amoun of time I am productive!! Good luck! Happy WOYWW Cindy #16

  10. What a lovely tag Fonda. I'm glad you found the space to make it. i see you have a Dymo Letratag as well. I love these as you can print out whatever you like for art journal pages or use it to label ink pads. Happy belated WOYWW. Sarah #3

    1. I've seen the label makers being used to label ink pads, and I think I want to do that. I think I need to get more tape, though, before I start. I'm using mine now to mark my ATCs for a group I swap with. Thanks for coming by!

  11. Hi Fonda,
And yes, putting them away is a part of the cleaning, mine generally go away, but I have moments when they seem to sit waiting for while, too... a great crafty space, I love it.
Happy WOYWW. Thanks for sharing, Shaz in Oz.x #20

  12. Your butterfly tag is gorgeous and I love the image of the insect too - is it a stamp? Your desk is great and looks so full of interesting stuff - every colour of ink pad you could possibly need. I hope you get your stamps washed - it's a job I hate so I often use baby wipes when I'm feeling lazy!
    Have a great week,

    1. Thanks! The insect is also a stamp, and I've had it for years and years! The previous bunch of stamps are washed, but not put away. I kind of promised myself that I wouldn't let too many days go by before I washed a batch of stamps, so I'd better get myself in gear! Dye ink requires just a damp cloth, or a baby wipe, or a rinse in the sink, but some require stamp cleaner and a good scrubbing!

  13. What a busy desk you have. Love to see such a hive of activity and the idea of stamping half a dragonfly is brilliant? What a gorgeous image it is too - love the way you have coloured it in.
