Black and White 2

I found that I am really limited in the stamps that I can use for this black and white challenge. I was having difficulty showing the proximity of the zebra to the tree. Hopefully, the sun way up above will help, or at least give me the magic number of three.

I started with an A2 card blank in white. I used a tree stamp and a zebra stamp. I stamped them directly on the card blank in black. The dot was a circle cut from black card stock.

  1. I think that's a really clever CAS composition - such simplicity and clarity. I think you've got the perspective pretty much perfect for the relationship between tree and zebra.

    1. Thanks! For that challenge, I've seen other projects that include some color - one, lots of color. So, I'm not sure if I'm spot on with my interpretation. We'll see.

  2. Funny, as soon as I saw the theme at The Artistic Stamper I thought about my zebra stamp! In fact, if I ever get around to it, it will be my entry for the challenge. Purely in black and white too, as it does look striking and it's the closest to the theme! I also think you've got the tree/zebra perspective correct.

  3. I pulled out one zebra stamp, and it had hardened and had become crispy feeling. That's the first stamp I have every thrown away because of that. Anyway, I hope you get around to making a card with your zebra stamp. I'm glad you think that my perspective is right. Thanks for stopping by!
